Account Manager/Customer Success Specialist, Life Science

The Customer Success Specialist, Life Science at JoVE plays a crucial role in supporting researchers and faculty at subscribing Universities and Research Institutions in North America. By aiding in the integration of JoVE's content into syllabi and facilitating training and research activities, you will contribute to the advancement of scientific education and research. Your responsibilities will include engaging with Researchers and Educators to enhance the utilization of JoVE resources in laboratory and classroom settings. This customer-facing role involves delivering presentations and webinars at exhibits, conferences, seminars, and workshops within University and Research center settings. Building relationships with key decision-makers and teaching/research staff through regular outreach efforts will be essential. Additionally, you will provide valuable customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams, and raise awareness about JoVE's products within new and existing customer institutes. To excel in this role, you should hold a Master's or PhD Degree in a STEM discipline, possess excellent English communication skills, and have previous experience working in laboratory environments. Any background in Science Communications or Customer-facing roles will be advantageous. A comprehensive understanding of education and research trends in relevant content areas such as Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Physics, Engineering, or Psychology is required. Demonstrated proficiency in delivering engaging presentations, networking with scientists and decision-makers, and a willingness to travel are also key qualifications.
