Account Manager - Ultrasound - West

As an Account Manager - Ultrasound at Philips, your primary role will be to oversee sales activities in a defined territory, ensuring the achievement of set targets and managing relationships with distributors, dealers, prescribing physicians, and end users. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing sales within a specified region and meeting pre-defined sales volumes and profit goals - Gaining and maintaining market knowledge to achieve and sustain the targeted market share in the assigned product category - Enhancing sales at existing customers and improving customer satisfaction - Establishing and nurturing business relationships with medical distributors, dealers, physicians, and hospital authorities to expand market reach - Keeping track of sales activities by distributors, assisting dealers in increasing sales, and staying informed about competitors and market trends - Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of company products, processes, and services related to customer service, technical support, and product financing To qualify for this role, you should have: - Any Graduate degree, preferably in BE or any Science field, with an MBA/PGDM being preferred - Strong experience with ultrasound products - 5 to 8 years of sales experience in medical equipment, particularly with hospital ultrasound products Regarding work arrangements, office-based roles at Philips typically require in-person presence at least 3 days a week, while field roles are conducted outside the company's main facilities, mostly at customers" or suppliers" locations.
