Job Description

Role Overview: Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a dynamic individual to join as a Sales Professional. As part of the Sales team, you will play a crucial role in acquiring orders from assigned customers and partners, contributing to the digital transformation in the industrial automation and digitalization sectors. Your responsibilities will include handling a range of automation and drive products, creating customer development plans, executing strategies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive market share. Key Responsibilities: - Acquire orders from assigned high potential customers, both direct and indirect, for automation and drive products. - Manage a portfolio of products for assigned Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction companies (EPCs), including automation, drives, motion control, DCS, communication, and identification products. - Develop result-oriented Customer Development Plans for all assigned customers, implement actions, and monitor results in a timely manner. - Coordinate internal stakeholders to implement strategies and gain market share for the complete portfolio offered by Digital Industries, including software products. - Utilize a value-selling approach to convert high potential accounts, focusing on system and application selling. - Collaborate with vertical stakeholders to support the complete ecosystem and ensure technology advancements from OEMs to end-users. - Effectively use the CRM tool for planning, monitoring customer visits, and tracking opportunities. - Knowledge of Siemens automation and drives portfolio will be an added advantage. - Demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills to drive successful customer relationships. Qualifications Required: - Mid-level professional with a background in sales, preferably in the industrial automation or related industry. - Strong understanding of automation and drive products. - Proven track record in customer relationship management and sales strategies. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
