Account Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Account Executive to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our coaching institute. The role involves fee tracking, petty cash management, vendor payments, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, accurate with numbers, and comfortable handling multiple accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily fee collection records (cash, UPI, bank transfers)
• Update and track student fee dues and follow-up on payments
• Handle petty cash, staff salary inputs, and reimbursements
• Record vendor bills and manage timely payments
• Prepare basic monthly reports (fee collection summary, expenses, etc.)
• Assist in annual audit and coordinate with external accountant/CA
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices and receipts
• Coordinate with front desk and admin team for payment-related queries

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Familiarity with Tally or similar accounting software
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and invoice management
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets
• Accuracy, confidentiality, and strong follow-up skills
• Comfortable working in an academic environment

Preferred

• Prior experience in a school, coaching institute, or small business setup
• Understanding of fee collection systems and reconciliation
