Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily sales, purchase, and expense entries in accounting software (Tally or similar).
  • Handle billing, credit/debit notes, and GST-related entries.
  • Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, and payment records.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and petty cash.
  • Support monthly and yearly closing of accounts and assist in audits.
  • Manage stock accounting and coordinate with the store and purchase teams for stock verification.
  • Ensure timely vendor and supplier payments.
  • Generate reports such as sales summaries, outstanding reports, and expense analysis.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
  • Coordinate with management for budgeting and financial planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting (retail experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and basic accounting principles.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
