Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Executive based in Gurugram. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing client accounts, building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. They will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing sales reports, and coordinating with internal teams.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Process and manage invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.

Bank Reconciliation:

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

General Ledger Management:

  • Maintain and update the general ledger.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Expense Management:

  • Monitor and manage company expenses.
  • Ensure all expenses are recorded and accounted for accurately.

Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and report variances.

Taxation:

  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings.

Support to Finance Team:

  • Provide support to the finance team and other departments as needed.
  • Participate in financial projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
