Job Description

Role: Junior Accounts Executive

Experience : 1 to 2 years

Compensation : As per Company Standards

Job Location: Chennai


Job

We are in search of an Accounts Executive for an entry-level position, ideally with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, who possesses a fundamental understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in using Zoho invoice and Tally, and expertise in managing invoices.


Responsibilities

  • Skilled in managing invoices, ensuring accuracy, and timely processing.
  • Perform various accounting tasks.
  • Maintain bookkeeping records, with a preference for experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Internal follow-up to ensure timely creation and follow-up with the customer to receive the payment before the due date.
  • Handle sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Work with spreadsheets and journals.
  • Verify and ensure the accuracy of payments, amounts, and records.
  • Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of Tally and Zoho Invoice.
  • Possess advanced written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.


Education

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Business Administration (BBA).
