Account Executive

Job Summary:

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing the companys financial transactions, maintaining accurate books of accounts, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the finance team in audits, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of accounting principles, attention to detail, and experience with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records (sales, purchases, expenses, bank transactions, etc.)
  
• Prepare and process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
  
• Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger scrutiny.
  
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and MIS reports.
  
• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  
• Ensure timely filing of TDS, GST, and other statutory returns.
  
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
  
• Manage petty cash and monitor fund flow.
  
• Coordinate with internal departments for invoice validation and payment approvals.
  
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
  

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Tally ERP, SAP, or other accounting software preferred).
  
• Good understanding of taxation (GST, TDS, etc.) and statutory compliance.
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
  
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com).
  
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  
• Experience in hospitality / retail / F&B industry preferred (optional).
