Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive with a strong understanding of banking operations, GST regulations, and general accounting principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day financial activities, bank reconciliations, GST filings, and ensuring compliance with all financial and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage banking transactions.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain and reconcile ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments and banks for smooth financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, GST rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with audits, financial reports, and internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Track and manage input tax credit (ITC) claims under GST regulations.
• Maintain documentation and records as per statutory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, with specific exposure to banking and GST compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and return filing processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or SAP.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a CA firm, finance department, or mid-sized business.
• Knowledge of TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances is a plus.
• Understanding of e-invoicing and GST reconciliation tools.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
