1. Data Entry & Record Keeping:
o Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
o Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
o Ensure all accounting data is correctly recorded and stored.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
o Assist in processing invoices and payments to suppliers.
o Support the accounts receivable process by creating and sending invoices, and following up on payments.
o Assist in resolving discrepancies related to billing and payments.
3. Bank Reconciliation:
o Assist in performing bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
o Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues in bank statements.
4. Assistance in Financial Reporting:
o Support the preparation of basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
o Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
o Provide support in the preparation of financial statements.
5. Compliance & Documentation:
o Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
o Assist in preparing documentation required for tax filings (e.g., GST, TDS).
6. Expense Tracking:
o Help track and record expenses, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation of costs.
o Support in maintaining petty cash records and handling reimbursements.
7. Support to Senior Accounting Staff:
o Provide assistance to senior accountants in their day-to-day tasks.
o Handle any other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the senior accounting team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
