Job Description

The role involves performing day-to-day accounting tasks such as managing ledgers, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits. This position requires attention to detail, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to handle financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journals, ledgers, and other accounting documents.
Record all business transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally).
Prepare and manage invoices, receipts, and payments to ensure timely transactions.
Perform bank and cash reconciliations regularly to ensure financial accuracy.
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure all transactions are recorded properly.
Review and reconcile petty cash, credit card statements, and vendor accounts.
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other related filings)
Assist with the preparation of Income Tax returns (ITR) for individuals and businesses.
Maintain records for tax audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Stay updated with the latest tax laws, including GST, TDS, and income tax regulations.
Manage accounts payable by verifying and processing supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments.
Monitor accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments and following up with clients on overdue invoices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
