Account back office assistant

As an Accounts cum Office Assistant at Science City, Ahmedabad, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities and tasks. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for handling accounts, office tasks, coordination, purchase and material management, as well as general administration. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintain day-to-day accounting entries including purchase, sales, cash, and bank transactions. - Verify vendor bills, GRN entries, and perform reconciliation tasks. - Process site data and generate daily MIS reports. - Manage petty cash and keep records of site expenses. - Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations. - Collect daily progress reports from site engineers and present them to management. - Maintain records of labour attendance, material consumption, and site activities. - Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors effectively. - Draft and file letters, emails, and important documents. - Obtain quotations from vendors, prepare comparison sheets, and issue purchase orders. - Follow up on material delivery and maintain accurate stock records. - Handle general administration tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and data entry. - Provide timely and accurate reports to management. - Assist in HR records, correspondence, and bank-related activities. **Qualifications Required:** - B.Com / M.Com / Graduate with computer knowledge. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience, preferably in Construction Contractor / Industrial Project settings. **Additional Details:** The salary for this position is negotiable and will be as per industry standards, depending on your experience.
