Job Description

• Reviewing and editing research papers for clarity, coherence, and structure.
• Ensuring proper formatting and adherence to journal guidelines such as APA, MLA, or IEEE.
• Checking for plagiarism and ensuring originality through proper citations.
• Providing guidance to PhD scholars to improve their research writing.
• Assisting in the submission process, handling revisions, and communicating with journal editors.

Roles & Responsibility:

• Assist in the development and publication of technical or research journals, papers, and reports.
• Collaborate with senior team members in collecting and organizing research data.
• Support the editorial process, including proofreading and ensuring content accuracy.
• Prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations based on research findings.
• Perform literature reviews and support data analysis as required.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing research and publication projects.
• Assist in maintaining journal databases, archives, and records.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand and implement feedback for journal publications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE) or Post Graduate (PG) qualification in [relevant field].

Other Skills:

• Published scholarly papers in academic journals
• Ability to follow publication guidelines (style manual, handbook, etc.)
• Prior editing experience
• Knowledge of the STM industry
