Academic Counselor

Role Summary

The Study Abroad Counselor will guide students through the process of selecting and applying to international education programs. This includes personalized counseling, documentation support, and pre-departure preparation to ensure a smooth transition to Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one counseling to students on study abroad options
• Assist in selecting suitable universities and programs based on academic goals
• Guide students through application and visa processes
• Conduct workshops and orientation sessions
• Stay updated on global education trends and university requirements
• Collaborate with international institutions and partners
• Support students with scholarship and financial aid applications
• Offer post-departure support and follow-up

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in student counseling or international admissions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of visa documentation and international education systems
• Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month

• Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Academic counseling: 1 year (Preferred)
