Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counselor, located in Chennai. The Academic Counselor will engage in daily tasks such as student and career counseling, academic advising, and providing detailed information about education opportunities. Responsibilities also include developing tailored action plans for students, assisting with university applications and documentation, and ensuring a smooth visa process. The counselor will also support pre-departure preparation, helping students transition seamlessly into their new academic journeys abroad.

Qualifications

• Skills in Student Counseling, Career Counseling, and Academic Advising
• Strong Communication skills
• Understanding of the education system and processes
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students
• Proficiency in using counseling and student management software
• The ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple cases
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience in international education consulting is a plus
