Job Description

Designation: Academic Counsellor Location: Chennai, Valasaravakkam, Alwarthirunagar Experience: Freshers- 3 years experience Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one counselling to students regarding courses, universities, and countries. Understand student profiles, career goals, and academic backgrounds to suggest suitable study options abroad. Handle admissions processes: documentation, applications, follow-ups, and interview preparation. Maintain updated knowledge of overseas education systems, entry requirements, and visa processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and university partners. Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for enrolments and conversions. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline); Education/Management background preferred. Fresher to 1+ years of experience in overseas education counselling (Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply). Excellent spoken and written English; additional regional languages are a plus. Strong interpersonal, listening, and problem-solving skills. Target-driven, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
