Academic Advisor

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and student-centric Academic Advisor to counsel prospective learners and guide them through the complete admission process. The role focuses on student counseling, inquiry management, regular follow-ups, and achieving monthly enrollment goals while ensuring a positive student experience.

Submission of a short self-introduction video is mandatory for all applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students to help them select programs aligned with their interests and career objectives
• Convert inquiries into enrollments by clearly explaining program offerings, benefits, and admission procedures
• Meet assigned monthly counseling and enrollment targets
• Engage with students through phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, webinars, and virtual sessions
• Conduct timely and consistent follow-ups to improve conversion rates
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and progress in the CRM system
• Collaborate with marketing, academic, and operations teams to ensure a smooth and seamless admission process

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in academic counseling, admissions, or sales
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand student requirements and provide appropriate guidance
• Target-driven, well-organized, and proactive with follow-ups
• Familiarity with CRM systems and digital communication tools
• Mandatory: Submission of a short self-introduction video

Preferred Skills

• Ability to build strong rapport with students and parents
• Persuasive communication and presentation abilities
• Prior experience in EdTech, education, or training institutes is an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
