Description We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer specializing in mechanical engineering to ensure the highest quality standards in our production processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance and control, specifically in the mechanical sector, and will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving product quality. Responsibilities Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for mechanical components. Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Identify and resolve quality issues in the production process. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product quality. Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality assurance activities. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions. Train and mentor junior QA/QC staff on quality assurance processes. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 8-15 years of experience in QA/QC within the mechanical industry. Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and standards (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.). Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and equipment (calipers, gauges, etc.). Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques. Familiarity with mechanical design and manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
