Description We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of implementing effective HSE strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. Responsibilities Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and programs Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify causes and develop corrective actions Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on HSE performance Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans Participate in emergency response planning and drills Manage HSE-related documentation, including permits, licenses, and certifications Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field 8-10 years of experience in HSE management In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards Experience developing and implementing HSE strategies and programs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other HSE-related software Certifications in HSE-related fields (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred
