Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Order Management (SOM) professional to lead the design, development, and implementation of end-to-end SOM solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in SOM orchestration, automation, and integrations with external systems such as ERP, WMS, and payment gateways.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and implementation of Salesforce Order Management (SOM) solutions.
  
• Design and configure orchestration flows for:
  
• Order capture
  
• Fulfillment
  
• Cancellations
  
• Returns
  
• Payment processing
  
• Develop and maintain automation using

  Flow

  ,

  Apex

  , and

  Composite APIs

  for managing the complete order lifecycle.
• Integrate Salesforce SOM with third-party systems (ERP, WMS, Payment Gateways, SFCC) via

  REST/SOAP APIs

  and middleware tools.
• Create scalable and robust data models, ensuring

  data integrity

  throughout order processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
  
• Provide mentorship to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce Salesforce best practices.
  
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues across orchestration flows and API interactions.
  
• Stay updated on Salesforce SOM feature releases and advocate for adoption where applicable.
  
• Implement custom logic for complex order scenarios such as:
  
• Split shipments
  
• Fulfillment routing
  
• Order holds & backorders
  
• Partial returns & refund processing
  
• Build extensible components using

  Apex

• Perform root cause analysis on production issues and apply long-term fixes.
  
• Drive observability, logging, and proactive monitoring across order services.

Required Technical Skills

• Deep hands-on experience with

  Salesforce Order Management (SOM)

  and its data model.
• Proficiency in:
  
• Salesforce Flows & Orchestration Flow Designer
  
• Apex, LWC, Aura, SOQL, SOSL
  
• Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
  
• Strong experience in:
  
• Composite API, Named Credentials, and secure API integration
  
• Integrations with ERP, payment systems, logistics, and middleware
  
• Order processing: fulfillment, returns, exchanges, order holds, and adjustments
  
• Secure authentication protocols: OAuth2, JWT, Named Credentials
  
• Understanding of:
  
• PCI compliance, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), and fraud prevention
  
• Salesforce Core Clouds (Service Cloud, B2C/B2B Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud)
  
• Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC)
