3rd Shift Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor at Radiac Abrasives, Inc., you will be responsible for managing the productivity and quality of a production team to achieve target goals, productivity, and safety standards. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of production processes and meeting quality specifications for all products produced. Your strong machining and mechanical ability will enable you to troubleshoot problems independently and lead your team effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a production team to ensure productivity standards are achieved and production processes run smoothly. - Ensure that quality specifications are met for all products produced. - Troubleshoot problems independently with strong machining and mechanical ability. - Identify root causes of issues and take fast, effective action to resolve them. - Develop and motivate direct reporting staff to meet expectations. - Monitor, measure, and report on production-related process performance and general issues. - Communicate effectively with all staff members, verbally or in writing. - Ensure compliance with health and safety rules and regulations. - Collaborate with other Supervisors to ensure efficient production workflow. - Conduct training to ensure skills are met. - Utilize lean methodology to improve production throughput. - Contribute to the company's continuous improvement plan for future growth. - Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace. - Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in managing and leading people in a manufacturing production environment. - Manufacturing degree or equivalent experience. - Working knowledge of 5S, Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing principles, and root cause and corrective action.,
