Job Description

Solution Designer/Analysts play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business by gathering and shaping technical and functional requirements from program stakeholders. They conduct workshops with stakeholders from various departments such as Business, IT, and Transformation programs to drive a comprehensive requirements management process. This process includes prioritization, fit-gap and dependencies analysis, user stories elaboration, estimations, and implementation risk assessments. The Solution Designer/Analysts are responsible for defining end-to-end telco solutions that meet stakeholder requirements and mapping these requirements to design and code while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to Telco standards such as ODA, ETOM, and SID. Additionally, they provide support in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to Development and QA teams. Key Skills required for the role include: - Minimum 5 years of software development experience with Java/J2EE, .NET, etc. - Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Concepts - Experience working with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) tools - Ability to understand user requirements and prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) - Proficiency in tracing requirements to design through to code - Knowledge of database model designs Nice to have skills: - Exposure to Aris would be an added advantage - SQL knowledge - Proficient in English with good written and verbal communication skills - Experience in team collaboration using Agile frameworks In terms of Business Knowledge, Solution Designer/Analysts are expected to have expertise in Telco solutions analysis based on TMFORUM standards such as ODA, ETOM, and SID. They should possess a deep understanding of Telco business processes related to Customer Engagement, Customer Care, Customer Sales, Customer Order Management, Service Order Management, Telecom Catalogs, Telecom Inventories, Risk Management, and Number Portability. Additionally, knowledge in Telecom application architectures is essential for this role. As the Solution Designer/Analyst develops competency in their area of expertise, they are expected to share their knowledge, provide guidance and support to others, and interpret clients" needs. They should be able to work independently or with minimal supervision, identify problems and relevant issues, and generate solutions. Collaboration in teamwork and effective interaction with customers are key aspects of this role.,
