Role Overview

3D Rigging Artist


Key Responsibilities

  • Create optimized, production-ready rigs for humanoid 3D models.
  • Implement IK/FK systems, blend shapes, facial rigs, and constraints.
  • Work closely with modeling and animation teams to ensure smooth deformations.
  • Collaborate with devs to integrate rigs using Three.js or similar frameworks.
  • Maintain rigging templates, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.


Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in

    Blender

    rigging.
  • Familiarity with

    ZBrush

    ,

    Photoshop

    ,

    Substance Painter

  • Solid understanding of

    weight painting

    , deformation, and facial animation.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of
