Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative 3D Faculty member with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in 3D modeling, animation, and design. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and mentoring students in the areas of 3D design, and related software tools. This role involves delivering practical lessons, providing one-on-one guidance, and ensuring that students are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the 3D and animation industry. Roles and Responsibilities - Deliver instruction in areas such as 3D modeling, animation, rendering, and visual storytelling. Train students in using leading industry tools like Autodesk Maya, Blender, ZBrush, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, and similar platforms. Conduct classes both in-person and online, using lectures, hands-on demos, and interactive workshops. Design and implement projects, assignments, and evaluations that align with course goals and learning outcomes. Offer detailed, constructive feedback on student work, helping them refine their technical and creative skills. Provide one-on-one mentoring and career guidance, supporting students in building strong professional portfolios. Stay informed about current trends, tools, and advancements in 3D design, animation, and related fields. Support the planning and execution of seminars, guest lectures, industry interactions, and creative workshops. Qualifications and Requirements - A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a closely related discipline. Hands-on experience in AR/VR or game design is highly desirable. Familiarity with additional creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Unity, or Unreal Engine is preferred. Demonstrated industry experience in 3D modeling, animation, or similar creative roles. Strong command of professional-grade 3D software, including but not limited to Autodesk Maya, Blender, ZBrush, and 3ds Max. Deep understanding of key 3D concepts such as modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering workflows. Previous teaching, mentoring, or training experience is a plus. Excellent communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills.
