3D Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Design 3D models of injection molds for plastic bathroom fittings using Siemens NX.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and technical documentation for manufacturing.
• Work closely with the tool room and production teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of designs.
• Optimize mold designs for durability, precision, and efficient cycle time.
• Assist in design modifications and improvements based on testing and production feedback.
• Maintain design files, revision history, and ensure design standards are met.
• Collaborate with R&D team for new product development.
• Support troubleshooting of molds during trials and production.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die / Production Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in mold design for plastic injection molding (preferably in bathroom fittings or related industries).
• Strong command of Siemens NX (Unigraphics) for 3D & 2D mold design.
• Knowledge of mold components, cooling channels, gating systems, and ejector mechanisms.
• Understanding of plastic materials, shrinkage, and mold flow basics.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and detail orientation skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous)

• Exposure to Mold Flow Analysis software.
• Knowledge of CNC programming / CAM integration.
• Hands-on exposure to tool room operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
