3D Design Lead

🎯 Role Overview

As the 3D Design Lead, you’ll oversee the complete asset pipeline — from concept to final integration. You’ll work closely with curriculum, Unity, and AR teams to bring educational content to life through visually stunning and optimized 3D assets.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the 3D art pipeline — modeling, UV mapping, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
• Create

  low-poly optimized game assets

  for real-time applications (Unity/AR).
• Maintain consistent

  art style and visual fidelity

  across modules.
• Mentor and review work from 3D interns and junior artists.
• Collaborate with Unity developers for

  asset integration

  and material setup.
• Innovate with PBR workflows, procedural texturing, and Blender add-ons.
• Manage timelines, maintain naming conventions, and ensure output quality.

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• Expert proficiency in Blender

  (modeling, sculpting, shading, animation).
• Strong experience in

  texturing (Substance Painter / Blender nodes)

  and

  UV workflows

  .
• Proven track record of

  creating optimized game-ready assets

  .
• Understanding of

  lighting, PBR materials, and rendering pipelines (Eevee/Cycles)

  .
• Familiarity with

  Unity or Unreal Engine

  for real-time asset validation.
• Eye for detail, realism, and stylized consistency.
• (Bonus) Experience with AR/VR pipelines or educational content design.
