Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Zuora Billing Consultant/Architect to lead the design.

implementation, and optimization of Zuora billing solutions. The ideal candidate will bring

strong expertise in subscription management, billing, payments, and finance modules, with

the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable

solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Zuora Products with expertise across all charge models.
• Define and implement Billing rules, tax engine, and revenue recognition processes.
• Manage payment rules, gateways, HPP, and gateway reconciliation in Zuora.
• Work on Zuora Finance modules with focus on closing of books.
• Conduct workshops and provide guidance on Zuora best practices.
• Implement and support Zuora Collect Apps (APM, CPR, Lockbox, etc.).
• Design and customize templates (Word/HTML) for invoices, emails, and

notifications.

• Build and enhance Zuora workflows for process automation.
• Develop and utilize Zuora reports for analytics and insights.
• Partner with clients to understand requirements and deliver analytical solutions for

complex use cases.

• Work with Zuora APIs and the object model for integrations.
• Manage deployment across multiple tenants/environments.
• Collaborate with ERP and CRM platforms (NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.) for seamless

integration.

• Drive system implementation, integration, and project management activities.
• Mentor junior team members and foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Effectively manage multiple stakeholders in high-pressure situations.

Required Qualifications

• Must have: Zuora Billing Certification.
• 612 years of overall experience with at least 4+ years in Zuora Billing

implementations.

• Proven expertise in subscription billing, finance operations, and system integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring teams and delivering projects in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of ERP/CRM integrations (NetSuite, Salesforce).
• Exposure to Zuora advanced modules and emerging features.
• Experience with large-scale deployments and multi-tenant environments.
