Job Description

Sales and business development

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the zone.
Set, monitor, and analyze sales targets for the team, breaking down annual goals into quarterly and monthly objectives.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
Identify, acquire, and maintain relationships with key clients and major accounts.
Coordinate with marketing and product development teams to support new product launches and initiatives.

Team and people management

Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to improve performance.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Foster a results-driven, high-performing sales culture.
Ensure staff understands their roles and meets performance and training needs.

Operations and financial management

Manage and monitor sales budgets and forecasts for the zone.
Oversee the proper storage and handling of perishable goods to maintain product quality and availability.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Analyze sales data, generate performance reports, and use KPIs to evaluate against targets.
Address operational challenges and resolve customer issues and complaints effectively.

Strategy and reporting

Prepare and present regular performance reports, forecasts, and business insights to senior management.
Ensure alignment between zonal business plans and the corporate business strategy.
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
