Zonal Manager - Retail Credit

Job Description Role Overview: As a Zonal Credit Manager, your main responsibility will be to manage the credit operations for the designated zone. You will be required to ensure timely credit assessments, risk analysis, and credit underwriting as per company policies and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a healthy credit portfolio and implementing strategies to minimize credit risk. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct credit assessments for new and existing customers within the zone. - Analyze creditworthiness and make recommendations for credit limits. - Implement credit underwriting policies and procedures in line with company guidelines. - Monitor and manage credit exposures to ensure compliance with risk management standards. - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including customers, sales teams, and credit bureaus. - Provide regular reports and updates on credit portfolio performance to senior management. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. - Proven experience in credit management, preferably in a financial institution or banking sector. - Strong knowledge of credit assessment, risk analysis, and underwriting procedures. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
