Role & responsibilities

& Responsibilities

Manage and optimize the
Zabbix Enterprise Monitoring platform
for critical business systems and network infrastructure.
Redesign monitoring strategies to align with modern IT architectures and technologies.
Prioritize resources and projects related to Zabbix monitoring; provide progress and status updates.
Define and standardize enterprise-wide monitoring metrics for alerting, reporting, and analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive, service-driven monitoring strategies.
Design alerting systems and incident response processes across the enterprise.
Work closely with NOC and Performance teams to ensure consistent monitoring visibility and incident management.
Promote automation and a DevOps mindset within the monitoring team.

Skills Required

8-10 years of IT experience with strong expertise in
Zabbix administration and integrations
(version 7.0+).
Experience in monitoring critical systems and network infrastructure.
Hands-on knowledge of at least 3 monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, SCOM, SolarWinds, Splunk, DataDog).
Proficient in using APIs for integrations and automation (Zabbix API mandatory).
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for Zabbix components.
Experience managing multiple Zabbix proxies/servers and HA setups.
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux OS administration.
Familiar with LAN/WAN networking concepts and Unified Communications (VOIP, video, telecom).
Experience with ITSM and workflow tools such as
ServiceNow
.
Experience with SCM tools and
PostgreSQL
database management.
