As a Bowling Senior Coed Coach at Satellite High School, you will be instrumental in coaching and guiding student-athletes in the realm of bowling. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing and supervising all facets of the bowling program within the school. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all aspects of the bowling program at Satellite High School. - Coach and mentor student-athletes in the sport of bowling. - Utilize your expertise to enhance the skills and performance of the student-athletes. - Demonstrate strong leadership skills and effectively manage large groups of students and athletes. - Ensure a high level of sportsmanship and competition within the bowling program. - Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to create a positive and inclusive team environment. Qualifications Required: - Hold a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited program or university. - Possess a Florida Athletic Coaching Certification, such as a Professional 5-Year or Temporary 3-Year certificate issued by the State of Florida Department of Education, or be eligible to apply for one upon job offer. - Have a minimum of two years of documented sport-specific coaching experience at the secondary level. - Demonstrate a solid understanding of the competitive nature of bowling. - Preferably have three to five years of coaching experience at the grade level specific to Varsity vs. Freshman/JV. - Completion of required courses in Sports Specific, Sports Medicine, and Sports Theory, along with holding a valid CPR card for obtaining a Professional 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate.
