Location:

Kamrup Metro and different field sites in Assam and NE India

Job Role &Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of the young fellow are

Active engagement with educational institutions and communities by conducting and supporting activity-based learning and outreach programs primarily in Kamrup Metro District of Assam and other parts of NE India.
To liaise and active engagement with administration/ Government departments, research and development on climate change and environmental arena.
Data collection, data interpretation and support in data analysis and technical report.
Documentation including monthly/activity report preparation, activity/campaign designing on environment etc.
Organise field activities with community (Community Councils) as well as the Municipal to undertake environment activities such as plantation drive, waste management and recycling etc

Desired Qualification

and experience:

Graduate/Post graduate in Forestry/ Environment studies/ Botany/ Agriculture/ Geography/related field
Some internship/ experience desirable but
NOT
necessary
Fair knowledge of computers
Must have good communication skills including verbal & written proficiency in English and Assamese.
