Job Title: X-Ray Technician / Radiology Technician

Reports To: Radiology Department Head / Medical Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our hospital’s radiology team. The successful candidate will operate X-ray and imaging equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. You will ensure patient safety, maintain accurate imaging records, and provide high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations (X-rays) as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients properly for imaging procedures to ensure quality results.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure patient safety by using protective equipment and following radiation safety guidelines.
• Review and evaluate developed X-rays for clarity, positioning, and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate patient and imaging records in hospital systems.
• Assist radiologists and other medical staff in interpreting and communicating results.
• Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols.
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures clearly to patients and families.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Valid certification/licensure as an X-Ray Technician / Radiologic Technologist .
• Minimum [1–3] years of experience in diagnostic radiology (hospital experience preferred).
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Proficiency with PACS and digital imaging systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position; may require shifts, weekends, or on-call duty.
• Exposure to radiation and infectious materials (safety procedures and protective gear provided).
• Fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
