Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Should have 2+ yrs of experience in pure WPF
Have strong knowledge on Windows Desktop Application Development
Good experience of the n-Tier architectures with REST web services, preferably WebAPI.
Hands on experience with .NET 4.5, C#, WPF and WebAPI or WCF RESTful Service/ASP.NET MVC, Ado.Net, Winform, UWP and similar Client/Server Architectures will be a plus
Should have worked on LINQ and Entity Framework, SQL Server with strong knowledge on queries and joins
Experience with Agile/Scrum Organization and TDD, experience in creating database schemas, stored procedures and writing optimized queries will count as a plus
Experience with TFS as a source code repository and as a Scrum tool.
Knowledge of SOA Principles & Continuous Integration environments would be a plus.
Proven track record of developing UI rich application using XAML for Either WPF Desktop Apps or Silverlight
Clear understanding of MVVM principals is a must including knowledge of Converters, Data Template, Control Template
Knowledge of Windows Registry, Installers an generating MSI builds though VDPROJ and WiX Toolset
Porting of WPF Apps to UWP and Win Store Experience will be an added bonus
Agile development methodologies including peer review, test automation and continuous integration

Preferred:

Knowledge on UML, design patterns, design principles such as SOLID / DRY and best coding practices.
Proven ability and interest in building new application features which interact with existing applications and infrastructure.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Fluent in English
