WordPress & Shopify Engineer

The ideal candidate for this position will collaborate with project managers, designers, and fellow developers to create high-quality CMS and e-commerce platforms that align with client requirements. You will be responsible for customizing platforms like WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, or Magento to suit each client's specific needs. Your primary focus will be on writing clean, scalable code that adheres to industry best practices, integrating with third-party services, shipping providers, and marketing automation tools. You will also be tasked with developing custom features using server-side languages like PHP, creating and managing themes and templates, and ensuring the platforms" security, scalability, and availability. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field and possess at least 2 years of experience in CMS and e-commerce development. Proficiency in at least two platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, or Magento is required, along with expertise in server-side languages like PHP. Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/Angular is essential. You must demonstrate a strong understanding of development best practices, version control systems like Git, and have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Additionally, problem-solving skills and the ability to think innovatively are key attributes for this role.
