As a WordPress Intern at our dynamic and fast-growing company specializing in web design, development, and digital solutions, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in WordPress website management, design, and development. This internship will allow you to work on real-world projects and grow within the WordPress ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with Website Development: - Help in the creation, customization, and maintenance of WordPress websites. - Assist in converting design mockups into responsive WordPress themes. - Content Management: - Update and manage website content such as blog posts, pages, images, and videos. - Help optimize content for user experience and SEO. - Theme and Plugin Management: - Assist with customizing and configuring WordPress themes and plugins. - Help with installing, updating plugins, and troubleshooting plugin-related issues. - Website Maintenance: - Participate in updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins for security. - Assist in regular backups and website performance optimization. - Basic SEO: - Implement basic SEO practices to improve website visibility. - Testing and Debugging: - Test website functionality across different devices and browsers. - Troubleshoot and debug minor issues related to WordPress sites and themes. - Collaborative Work: - Work alongside senior developers and designers to complete projects. - Communicate with the team to understand project requirements. Qualifications Required: - Technical Skills: - Basic understanding of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Familiarity with PHP is an advantage. - Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design. - Attention to Detail: - Strong attention to formatting, content structure, and design consistency. - Willingness to Learn: - Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies in web development. - Ability to apply feedback in a fast-paced environment. - Team Player: - Strong communication skills and collaboration with team members. - Ability to follow instructions and contribute ideas. - Time Management: - Effective time management and meeting deadlines. Preferred Skills (But Not Required): - Experience with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery. - Familiarity with SEO tools or Google Analytics. - Experience in ECommerce platforms, especially WooCommerce. - Knowledge of Git for version control.,
