Wordpress Developer

As an experienced WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for the following: - Converting HTML/CSS/JS mockups into high-performance, responsive WordPress themes and plugins. - Utilizing deep knowledge of the WordPress core API, including action and filter hooks, WP Query, and the REST API. - Demonstrating proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery. - Showcasing mastery of front-end development technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Sass/Less, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue). - Utilizing experience with build tools like Webpack, Gulp, and npm. - Applying expertise in version control systems, particularly Beanstalk and Git. - Implementing advanced understanding of performance optimization, including caching strategies, minification, and image optimization. - Ensuring knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices. - Demonstrating familiarity with server-side configurations (Apache/Nginx) and command-line tools. - Applying proficiency in security best practices to protect against common vulnerabilities. Qualifications required for this role: - 7+ years of professional experience developing complex WordPress solutions. - Proven track record of building custom themes from scratch and developing bespoke plugins to meet specific client requirements. - Extensive experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce. - History of migrating websites between platforms and optimizing existing WordPress sites for speed and scale.
