Wordpress Backend Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture and experience in developing custom WordPress themes, plugins, and functionalities. This role will primarily focus on backend development tasks, including optimizing website performance, implementing security measures, and integrating third-party APIs. The candidate should be proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and have a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
2. Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to enhance functionality and user experience.
3. Write efficient, secure, and maintainable backend code using PHP and MySQL.
4. Optimize website performance by implementing caching mechanisms, database optimizations, and other best practices.
5. Ensure website security by implementing security measures such as data encryption, user authentication, and protection against common vulnerabilities.
6. Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend website functionality.
7. Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend and frontend components.
8. Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by clients or identified through testing.
9. Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
10. Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
