Wiring Harness Technician

Job Purpose (Significance of the Role & Objectives)

We are looking for a passionate and goal-driven wiring harness technician, who will be working in the Electronics team. You will also be responsible for crafting and installing precision wiring harnesses that power a range of electrical and electronic systems. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence will be key in ensuring our products meet and exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Analyze electrical schematics and diagrams to determine wiring harness requirements.
• Skillfully assemble wiring harnesses according to specifications, including wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering.
• Conduct rigorous quality checks to uphold safety and performance standards, ensuring that our products meet or surpass customer expectations.
• Identify and resolve wiring harness issues daily to maintain product integrity.
• Maintain meticulous records of all wiring harness assemblies and revisions to facilitate efficient production processes.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and designers, to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained for optimal performance and safety.
• Adhere to stringent safety protocols to create a secure working environment for yourself and your team.

Desired Qualifications: Required Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) or Diploma in Electronics or a related field.
• Previous experience in wiring harness assembly or a related role is a must.
• Hands-on experience in wiring harness development and assembly is a must.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience. Minimum 1 Year relevant experience in the automobile.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work seamlessly within a team environment.
