Wire Cut Operator

Job Title: Wire Cut Operator / EDM Operator Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Wire Cut Operator to set up, operate, and maintain Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine) for precision cutting of metal components. The candidate should have good technical knowledge, attention to detail, and experience in machining tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Wire EDM machines as per drawing and job specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
• Select appropriate wire, material, and parameters for machining.
• Perform accurate cutting, trimming, and finishing of metal parts.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.)
• Maintain machine cleanliness, accuracy, and preventive maintenance records.
• Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed during operations.
• Coordinate with the design and production team for job planning and improvement.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of EDM / Wire Cut machines (Mitsubishi, Electronica, Sodick, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good understanding of tolerances, surface finish, and machining process.
• Basic computer skills for input and setup.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Wire EDM / Wire Cut machines (Mitsubishi, Electronica, Sodick, or similar).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of tolerances, surface finish, and machining processes.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and time management.

Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Wire EDM operation.

Salary Range:

₹15,000–₹35,000 per month (based on experience and skills)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,450.00 - ₹33,931.27 per month
