Wintel - Support Specialist

Job Description

Provide Wintel support, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows server environments and related infrastructure. Monitor system performance, conduct troubleshooting and resolve issues related to the Windows operating system, and Microsoft applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and support Wintel solutions aligned with business goals. Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity through effective recovery strategies. Document technical procedures, system configurations, and provide training for end-users on Wintel-related issues. Participate in change management processes and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assess and recommend improvements for system performance and security. Skills Required Extensive knowledge of Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange. Experience with virtualization technologies (e. g. , VMware, Hyper-V). Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Requirement & Qualification Minimum of 6 years of experience in Wintel support or related IT roles. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e. g. , MCSA, MCSE) are highly desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Willingness to participate in on-call support as required.
