Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesWindows Server & AD Administration

  • Perform day-to-day administration of Windows Server environments
  • Manage Active Directory (AD) user accounts, groups, and OU structures
  • Support GPO, DNS, and DHCP-related activities
  • Handle user access provisioning, de-provisioning, and permissions

VMware Support

  • Support VMware ESXi and vCenter environments
  • Assist in VM provisioning, monitoring, snapshots, and basic troubleshooting
  • Monitor VM performance and escalate capacity or performance issues as required

IIS & Application Support

  • Support and maintain IIS web servers
  • Assist in deployment and troubleshooting of IIS-hosted applications
  • Coordinate with application teams for issue resolution

Backup Operations

  • Monitor and manage backup jobs using Veeam and/or Veritas
  • Perform backup verification and routine restoration activities
  • Escalate backup failures or DR-related issues to senior teams

Patch Management (WSUS)

  • Support WSUS-based patching for Windows servers
  • Assist in scheduling, deploying, and validating patches
  • Ensure patch compliance as per organizational policies

Office 365 (Basic Support)

  • Perform basic Office 365 administration
  • Manage users, licenses, and mailboxes
  • Troubleshoot common issues related to Outlook, Exchange Online, and Teams

Monitoring, Incident & Change Support

  • Monitor system alerts, logs, and health dashboards
  • Handle L1/L2 incidents and service requests as per SLA
  • Participate in planned maintenance and change activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in Windows Server Administration
  • Hands-on knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP
  • Working experience with VMware virtualization
  • Experience with Veeam / Veritas backup tools
  • Knowledge of WSUS patch management
  • Basic working knowledge of Office 365
  • Good troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Experience working in ticketing and SLA-driven environments
  • Ready to work in 3 shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹320,146.10 - ₹1,335,206.20 per year
