Windows Software Engineer

Role Overview: You are a seasoned VC++/MFC Software Engineer joining the team in Chennai, focusing on developing and maintaining applications that interface with specialized hardware. Your expertise in C++, MFC, Win32, and Windows environments is crucial for this role. The ideal candidate will have a background in product companies and a proven track record in multithreaded systems, algorithms, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft Visual C++ and MFC. - Create new functionalities to manage Analyzer and Doser hardware within existing code bases. - Integrate with COM ports, USB devices, PCI cards, and Ethernet networks. - Collaborate with diverse teams to define requirements and devise solutions. - Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and scalable code. - Debug and optimize multithreaded applications within the Windows environment. - Conduct code reviews and uphold best practices. - Support the full Software Development Life Cycle, from requirements to deployment. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree (B.Tech/MSc/M.Tech/MS). - Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in C++ and MFC. - Proficiency in Win32, STL, SQL, XML, and TCP/IP Sockets. - Sound understanding of data structures, algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming principles. - Previous experience in product companies is mandatory. - Demonstrated stability in prior roles, with a minimum of 2 years in each organization. - Willingness to relocate to Chennai. - Notice period of 30-60 days.
