As a Windows Admin at Freepost located in Kolkata, your role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows server operating systems such as Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2024. You will be responsible for deploying and configuring Windows Server features like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and more. Your tasks will include applying security patches, updates, and service packs to Windows servers and systems, as well as implementing and enforcing security best practices for users, groups, permissions, and backup and disaster recovery solutions. Additionally, you will manage firewalls, antivirus software, and endpoint security. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain Windows server operating systems. - Deploy and configure Windows Server features like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and more. - Apply security patches, updates, and service packs. - Implement and enforce security best practices. - Manage firewalls, antivirus software, and endpoint security. - Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, system errors, or hardware failures. - Analyze system logs and event logs. - Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls. - Perform disaster recovery testing and manage recovery operations. - Restore files, folders, or system states from backup systems. - Schedule and deploy security patches and software updates. - Perform regular hardware maintenance and upgrades. - Configure and maintain network services. - Handle BAU activities and capacity management.
