Job Description

Job Title:

Engineer Wind Farm Control Validation

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance
automated test systems
for control software validation
Conduct
hardware and grid compliance tests
as per grid code requirements
Automate tests using
Exam MicroNova test sequencer
Define, prepare, and execute test cases; pre-evaluate results
Configure and update test systems for execution
Detect and implement new validation scenarios
Set up and optimize
HiL test bench systems
in the lab
Analyze measurement data and develop automated evaluation processes
Collaborate closely with international engineering teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

Degree in
Electronics, Software, or Computer Science Engineering
(IT / Automation preferred)
Good knowledge of
electrical engineering concepts
Basic knowledge of
network connection guidelines & grid code compliance
Familiarity with
Ethernet, bus systems & real-time simulation
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (DNP3, IEC-101, IEC-104, OPC-UA, Profinet)
Experience with
EXAM tool
preferred
Proficiency in at least one programming language (
Java or Python preferred
)
2+ years of relevant experience in control validation, testing, or automation

Ability to work in a
global, collaborative environment
