Job Description

Role Overview: As a Wet Utility Engineer at Buro Happold in Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in the Infrastructure group, contributing to projects in India and worldwide. Your work will involve designing water, wastewater, and stormwater networks, coordinating utilities, investigating stormwater, updating models, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Project Lead in designing wet utility-related projects, including water and wastewater transmission pipelines, and supporting stormwater drainage - Guide others in utilizing technologies such as Civil3D, Sewer Gems, Water Gems, AutoCAD, and BIM - Ensure design compliance with relevant codes and regulations - Liaise with service provider agencies for obtaining NOCs and Design Approvals - Collaborate with different design disciplines and stakeholders - Use software tools like Civil 3D, Mike Plus, WaterGems, SewerGems, Epanet, ArcGIS, and Excel for project execution - Assist in updating water system models and designing sewage and stormwater installations - Prepare designs, drawings, technical reports, specification, and schedules Qualifications Required: - 3-6 years of experience in wet utility engineering - Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects and collaborate effectively - Experience in masterplan engineering and sustainability principles application - Proficiency in IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Civil3D, Bentley Water/SewerGems, EPANET, and Microdrainage - Degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters degree from a reputed institute - Experience in the Middle East and/or UK would be advantageous Additional Company Details: Buro Happold is committed to promoting flexibility in working patterns and values diversity in its workforce.
