Job Overview

Welding Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate welding designs to ensure structural integrity and compliance with quality standards
• Create and qualify

  PQR (Procedure Qualification Record)

  and

  WPS (Welding Procedure Specification)

  for various materials and techniques
• Design and implement advanced welding systems including

  Cobot

  and

  Robot-based automation

• Ensure adherence to OHS (Occupational Health & Safety)

  standards related to welding operations
• Identify and resolve issues in welding processes and weld quality
• Conduct regular

  process audits

  and

  revalidations

  to maintain consistency and compliance
• Apply EN, ISO, and ASME codes in daily operations and documentation

Requirements

• Certified IWE (International Welding Engineer)
• ASNT Level III certified in VT, PT, MPT, UT, and Radiography
• Strong understanding of metal and alloy behavior during welding
• Proven experience in developing and qualifying PQR and WPS
• Hands-on expertise in various welding techniques and automation projects
• Familiarity with welding safety protocols and international standards
