Wedding & Events Co-ordinator

Role Overview: You will be responsible for planning and executing weddings, pre-wedding events, receptions, and other social events with a specialization in Indian and South Asian celebrations. Your deep understanding of traditional and modern Indian wedding customs, decor styles, and event logistics will be essential in creating unforgettable celebrations for clients. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, coordinate, and execute weddings, pre-wedding events (mehndi, sangeet, haldi), receptions, and other social events. - Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, cultural requirements, and budget. - Source and manage vendors for decor, catering, music, lighting, venues, and more. - Create detailed event timelines, floor plans, and checklists to ensure seamless execution. - Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule. - Maintain regular communication with clients, vendors, and team members throughout the planning process. - Stay up to date with trends in Indian and South Asian wedding traditions, themes, and design. Qualification Required: - Proven experience in wedding or event planning (minimum 2 years preferred). - Strong understanding of Indian and/or South Asian wedding customs and rituals. - Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. - Excellent communication and client service abilities. - Ability to manage multiple events and clients simultaneously. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel to event locations. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic event planning software.
