Job Description: Wedding Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Designer to conceptualize, design, and execute innovative event experiences. The Event Designer will be responsible for translating client visions into unique themes, décor, layouts, and overall event aesthetics while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, budgets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

ü Collaborate with clients, event planners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations.

ü Conceptualize event themes, mood boards, stage designs, décor, floral arrangements, lighting, and spatial layouts.

ü Create 2D/3D visual presentations, floor plans, and mock-ups to showcase design concepts.

ü Source, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors for décor, furniture, props, floral, fabric, and production needs.

ü Ensure on-site setup and styling meet design standards and client expectations.

ü Stay updated on industry trends, themes, and innovative design elements.

ü Manage design budgets and timelines while maintaining high-quality output.

ü Work closely with logistics, production, and technical teams to ensure seamless event execution.

ü Oversee installation and dismantling of design elements.

ü Provide creative input for marketing and promotional material designs related to events.

Key Skills & Competencies:

ü Strong sense of creativity, aesthetics, and attention to detail.

ü Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools).

ü Excellent visualization, presentation, and communication skills.

ü Strong project management and multitasking abilities.

ü Knowledge of materials, fabrics, floral design, lighting, and event trends.

ü Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.

ü Vendor management and negotiation skills

Qualifications:

ü Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Event Management, Interior Design, Visual Arts, or related field.

ü 2–5 years of experience in event design, set design, or décor styling (preferred).

ü Portfolio of previous event design work (required).

Work Environment:

ü Flexible to travel for events as required.

ü Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedules.
