Website Designer and Developer

The WordPress Website Designer role involves designing and developing high-quality WordPress websites to fulfill clients" needs and business objectives. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients to understand their requirements, creating design concepts aligned with their brand, and coordinating with developers to ensure feasibility within WordPress. You will be tasked with developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, customizing themes and plugins, optimizing website graphics, conducting testing, and staying updated on WordPress best practices. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in web design or a related field, along with at least 1 year of experience in designing and developing custom WordPress websites. Strong knowledge of WordPress development, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential, as well as proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD. Excellent communication and project management skills are key, along with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include experience in website optimization and SEO, familiarity with website hosting and security best practices, expertise in e-commerce website design, and knowledge of accessibility standards.
